| 内容記述 | Many Southeast Asian Countries, whether or not they are Islamic country, have Syariah Court system as a formal governmental institution for the resolution of disputes relating to family and inheritance issues among Muslim. Thailand, a Buddhist dominant country, allows the application of Islamic law to the disputes among Muslim only in Provincial Courts of four southern border provinces which have the substantial portion of Muslim population. This paper illustrates the historical development and institutional configurations of the system of application of Islamic Law in Thailand. | |||||
