"20世紀に提唱された、半現用の公的記録専用の施設をおく手法は、アルゼンチンの国家やコルドバ州各行政記録管理でも、現用機関外におかれ、記録管理の統括機関が運営する「中間文書館」の導入にみられる。しかし国家行政では、規模に見合った環境整備ができないなかで、一時期に大量の記録が移管されたのを契機に、施設としての中間文書館の機能が維持できなくなり、新たに確保された現行の設備も不十分なことが明らかになった。またコルドバ州行政では、中間文書館特有の記録の評価選別や保存処置は行われず、記録の経過期間よりも保存場所の空き状況優先で管理体制を決めていると判明した。電子媒体での記録の生成が増える今日、半現用の記録を管理するための段階の設置について再検討が求められるなかで、アルゼンチンでは紙媒体の記録管理でも中間文書館機能の意義が不明瞭な実態がみられる。",
