年革命から現在までイランの革命体制を国内外の脅威から守るという重要任務を担ってきた。その一つに周辺諸国のシーア派支援のための派兵が挙げられる。しかし，海外派兵には安全保障のジレンマや経済制裁など国益と相反する問題が生じる可能性がある。このようなパラドクスを孕むIRGC 派兵をイラン国民がどのように捉えてきたのか。言論統制の厳しいイランにおいて，IRGC という体制そのものを象徴する組織に対する正確な世論を測ることは困難とされてきた。\n本論文では，そのような「社会的望ましさバイアス」の問題に対して，独自に実施したサーベイ実験を通じて克服を試みた。その結果，IRGC の海外派兵支持者はイラン全国で約35 パーセントにとどまること，さらに支持/
